The original plan was to revisit Barque Smokehouse with a few friends but with no reservations, the wait was at least an hour. Instead of starving, we decided to walk down Roncesvalles Ave. in search of another restaurant. We stumbled upon Fat Cat Wine Bar; and by luck, we purchased a Groupon earlier for oyster and cheese fondue dinner. Since this was a wine bar, the menu didn’t have any main courses, but only a short list of snacks (the wine list was extensive though). The cheese fondue dinner was definitely not enough for four people, so we ordered a variety of appetizers to accompany our wine.
